The Illinois State Board of Education has released health and safety guidance for schools as we plan for returning to the classrooms in the fall. District 20 will rely on these State requirements as we continue to develop our local transition plan to reopen in our community. We will continue provide you with updates and details in the coming weeks.

District 20 is working hard this summer on several construction projects to create Future Ready Learning Spaces for our students. The projects include renovations in the libraries at Waterbury and Spring Wood, as well as upgrading some of our classrooms. The Illinois State Board of Education has released guidance for schools on the 2020-2021 school year. District 20 is thorougly reviewing the detailed guidance to implement into our own District Transition Plan for 2020-2021. We will communicate to families and staff as we fully develop a plan to prioritize the health and safety of our students, families, and staff while maintaining a dynamic learning environment for the upcoming school year.

Register NOW to take advantage of the NO REGISTRATION FEES through 7/31. Technology Fees still apply so that we can ensure that we continue to be a 1:1 device district for all grade levels. Starting 8/1, regular registration fees of $150 per child will be reinstated.
4th Grade Students at Greenbrook created an amazing documentary to share their experiences with The Nora Project 2020, which is a curriculum that teaches empathy and promotes friendships between classrooms and students with disabilities. The result for our classrooms was truly incredible.
